Jane Bruns (“A”)
In many different venues over a lot of years, Jane has portrayed a wide range of roles from Shakespeare (Kate in The Taming of the Shrew) to Tennessee Williams (Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie) to Rogers & Hammerstein (Anna in The King and I) to Stephen Sondheim (Desiree Armfeldt in A Little Night Music). She was a member of Quotidian Theatre’s acting company for a number of years. She holds a degree in theater from the University of Wisconsin and is a member of SAG/AFTRA.
Janet Constable Preston (“B”)
Janet is happy to return to the Peace Mountain Theater Company having made her Washington-area debut in 2016 in the PMTC production of Edward Albee’s A Delicate Balance. Other local roles include Mrs. Higgins in Pygmalion at Compass Rose Theater, Annapolis; Molly in a two-woman show, Origin of The Species, at the Strand Theater, Baltimore, and in Ten at the WOMXN on Fire Festival at the Keegan Theater, DC. In 2018 Janet joined the Maryland Renaissance Festival, performing in various Shakespeare plays and scenes and as the historical character Elizabeth Stafford, Duchess of Norfolk; in 2019, she played Cassius in Julius Caesar. A variety of previous roles in Miami, New York, and Cape Cod rounded out her career before she arrived in the DC area.
Julie Zito (“C”)
Julie is pleased to return to the stage in her debut with Peace Mountain Theatre Company. Previous favorite roles include Bev in Clybourne Park, Mrs. Bob Cratchit in Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge, Harriet, Isn't It Romantic, and Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol (all at Silver Spring Stage). Julie also appeared in Slanted Lines at the Greenbelt Arts Center. Julie thanks Tom, Kathryn, and Alex, as always, for their love and support.
