Amber Champ Amber (Jory), a long time Northern Virginian, is honored to play the role of Jory in Disgraced. She's most recently been seen in the October 2021 Theater@CBT virtual production of Aaron Posner’s District Merchant. In 2019, Amber performed in three on-stage productions at THEARC (Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus) Theater and in Yalu River at the Silver Spring Stage One-Act Festival. She has been trained in the Meisner technique based around improvisation and studied at the Theatre Lab for the Dramatic Arts in Washington, DC. In addition, she has appeared on camera in short films, a web series, and numerous virtual performances.
David Dubov David (Isaac) is very pleased to be making his debut with PMTC. He has 30+ years of work in the DC area, Los Angeles, and England, and is a graduate of Bennington College in Vermont. He has also appeared a number of times at Silver Spring Stage, most recently as Torvald in the streaming production of A Doll’s House, Part 2 in 2021 and in 2019 as Armin in Equivocation. Previous professional roles include Bottom in An Irish Twist on a Midsummer Night's Dream in 2018, and, in 2016, Piet Bezuidenhout in A Lesson From Aloes, Doc in The Night Alive, Anton Chekov in The Lady With the Little Dog, all at Quotidian Theatre Company.
Hamza Elnaggar Hamza (Abe) will be familiar to PMTC audiences as he has appeared in two of our Educational Outreach Programs, The Other and The Opioid Crisis. Most recently, he appeared in Sandy Spring Theatre Group’s virtual production of Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband. Hamza has been performing in virtual theater productions for over a year and is very much looking forward to being on stage in person.
